PASTOR & MRS. EDWARD C. TAYLOR
Pastor Edward C. Taylor and his lovely wife Jean are both from small community towns in Yazoo and Madison County. The two of them met while attending Word of Life Church in Jackson, MS. In 1991, Pastor Taylor attended Bible School at Word of Life Bible College. Pastor Taylor graduated from ministry school in 1993. During this year, he felt a “tug” in his spirit to go to Yazoo City, MS. In 1994, Pastor Taylor accepted God’s call to ministry and in 1995, both Pastor and Mrs. Taylor were ordained at Word of Life Church by Pastor Ronnie Sims.
After the untimely passing of Ronnie Sims, Pastor and Mrs. Taylor submitted themselves under the leadership of Pastor Kevin Wright and Bishop Keith A. Butler. On January 1, 2000, Pastor and Min. Jean Taylor were ordained by Bishop Keith A. Butler.
Pastor Taylor faithfully serves as senior Pastor of Word of Faith Christian Center, Yazoo City. Pastor Taylor and Minister Jean Taylor have been happily married for 25 years. They have four children and eight grandchildren.
