OUR HISTORY
In spring 1999, God joined Pastor Kevin E. Wright and Pastor Edward C. Taylor. As a result, Open Hands Bible Church became Word of Faith Christian Center on March 29, 2000. Word soon spread throughout the small delta town and once again expansion was inevitable. This resulted in services being moved to Majestic Oaks Drive, Yazoo City, MS.
The church acquired its current location in May 2004. Bishop Kevin E. Wright officially dedicated Word of Faith Christian Center-Yazoo on August 20, 2004. The church currently occupies a location that contains three buildings and takes up a city block.
The church is still experiencing supernatural growth.
